Aiming at promoting knowledge sharing and the free flow of ideas to accelerate mutual understanding and a more perfect knowledge of each other’s lives, UNESCO’s programs contribute to the achievement of the SDGs as well as the promotion and protection of the global cultural legacy.

When: March 8 - 10, 2024

With temperatures ranging between 5 and 13 degrees, the climate in Paris in March is generally described as cool and pleasant. Although it is still necessary to wear warm clothing, snowfalls are practically non-existent and only occur as an occasional event in exceptionally cold years.

Nationals of some other countries, including Australia, Canada, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland and the USA, do not need a visa for stays of up to 90 days. Paris is one of the 15 signatories of the Schengen Convention, an agreement whereby participating countries abolished customs checks at common borders. The standard tourist visa for non-European visitors to a Schengen country is valid for 90 days; for more information see the official website. You must apply for it in your country of residence and you cannot apply for more than two in any 12-month period. Please double-check with your Embassy or Consulate before booking your flights.

Letter of invitation

CWMUN is more than happy to assist you while getting a Visa offering help or writing your letter of invitation. However, writing a letter of invitation does not guarantee you are getting a Visa, CWMUN will not interfere with any Embassy or Consulate decisions or contact them on behalf on any person. Before planning your trip, please contact your local authorities for further information on how to get your Visa successfully.

If you need a letter, please email us and submit your passport information. A copy of your passport is mandatory to get your letter. A CWMUN Staff Member will get back to you with additional information in no time.

This information is only a guide. Some visa offices may ask for administrative fees. Make sure to have all info at your end before submitting your request.
