Change the World MUN Emirates

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is one of the world’s fastest-growing destinations for both business and leisure visitors. This is hardly surprising since geographically, economically and culturally, it is in a unique strategic position between East and West. The country attracts millions to major exhibitions at its many world-class exhibition centers, amongst others, bring many visitors to educational experiences as well. For all UAE’s futuristic appeal and abundance of western entertainments – a sleek metro that zips through the sky, sumptuous shopping malls, an indoor ski park, and countless bars – there is just as much fun to be had in the simple pleasures of “the Orient”: haggling for gold and frankincense in the bustling souqs, savouring the sunset from the back of a camel.

When: October 27 - 29, 2023

Dubai is hot, dry and windy year round, but the cooler temperatures of around 18°C to 31°C mean there’s very little humidity. There’s also very little rainfall, just 0.2 inches expected over the entire month. Weather-wise, October and May are considered the best months to visit the UAE.

Conference Venue

Since its very first edition, the CWMUN Emirates Conference is held at the NYU Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Island Campus, a pedestrian campus that combines traditional and modern architectural elements to reflect three identities: Abu Dhabi, New York, and the world. The campus is the perfect venue to welcome students from all over the world.

Students Accommodation

All students participating in CWMUN Emirates will be hosted at hotel facilities in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The list of hotels is being defined.

The reason why I loved Change the World is because it gives the students the ability to learn how to cooperate with others and find a way to all work tgether from different perspectives to come up with a shared resolution. Understanding how to put yourself in others’ shoes is not easy challenge, but I think is what the world needs today
