Simulation tools

Workplace® is a simple and familiar platform – as it is based on Facebook – but at the same time very powerful. It is already used by many organizations, including the World Health Organization (WHO), and is an ideal communication tool for teams working remotely. It works as a social network but includes advanced functions such as the possibility of working simultaneously with writing documents, sharing content with one’s colleagues and carrying out video meetings at any time. Pre-settings of Workplace® will be available to all participants of the CWMUN Virtual Edition. Your training material will also include easy tutorials to quickly learn to use this powerful tool.

Zoom® is the video conference software where simulation sessions are held. It guarantees exceptional clarity and quality and ensures that everyone can participate equally whether with your computers or smartphones. It will be your opportunity to impress other students with your skills as a speaker, follow the debate within your Committee, carry out negotiations in real time and vote for the Resolutions, just like in a standard Model UN.

Technical requirements

As the simulation is carried out remotely, before registering it is necessary to check that you have an internet connection and one (or more) devices capable of supporting the functioning of the tools you will need to interact with us.
