Show that the world can also change by staying at home and do your part to defeat the Covid-19 epidemic by respecting social distancing.

VIRTUAL

MODEL UN

The Change the World Virtual Model UN is the first simulation of United Nations that takes place completely online. It is addressed to students from schools and universities.

It stems from the experience of the Associazione Diplomatici which has been organizing the most important network of MUN events in the world for twenty years: the Change the World - World Program.

The CWMUN provides the simulation of:

  • Security Council (SC)
  • World Health Organization (WHO)
  • United Nations General Assembly (GA)

All Committees will deal with issues related to the global health emergency linked to the spread of Covid-19.

You will be assigned a Country to represent as Ambassador and your UN Committee.

Your goal is to cooperate with others to find a solution shared by all delegates. You will have to negotiate like a real diplomat to get consensus within the Commission and get your "UN Resolution" approved.

HOW DOES

IT WORK ?

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

The CW Virtual MUN foresees the participation of popular keynote speakers including Marco Alberti - ENEL Senior International Institutional Affairs Officer; Giuseppe Ayala - Former Magistrate; Ilaria Capua - Director of the One Health Center of Excellence at the University of Florida; Lucio Caracciolo - Limes Director; Salvatore Carrubba - former Director of Il Sole 24 Ore; Maria Latella - Sky journalist; Giuseppe Scognamiglio - EastWest director; Marco Tardelli - CWMUN Goodwill Ambassador.

TEAM CHALLENGES

Each participant will be part of a team of 30 students with whom to participate in fun online challenges. The goal is to climb the points ranking and take first place to win fantastic prizes.

OUR HISTORY

Associazione Diplomatici is an NGO with special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

Since 2000, through a complementary education to school and university, it has prepared over 30.000 students from all over the world on current issues and international careers who then took part in international forums organized by AD at the United Nations or in other institutional contexts in Italy and abroad.

The Association is supported by a Board of Directors made up of internationally renowned personalities.

The task of the Board is to propose didactic themes and topics to be treated at the events of the "Change the World - World Program" and other events organized by Diplomats.
